Today, after 35 years the company I worked for has closed it's doors. My father worked for the company for 20, mysef for 8, and the paycheck for the past two weeks we will not be getting.
My father is 61 years old, with no savings or retirement, and with mulitple health issues, no health insurance.
I have three kids, and no child support.
The earth has shifted
My world is shaken
and I feel alone and scared.
I dont know how to take care of everyone.
I dont how not to go under.
It is a bad day. A bad bad day.

Oh, Heidi! I'm so sorry to hear this news. There is nothing that I can say or do that would help. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sending up prayers immediately Heidi...tie a knot in the rope and hang on Dear...I know it is scary but try to keep faith in yourself and the life process.
Many Blessings on Gentle Winds to You and Yours!
Heidi,
I just stumbled across your blog and read the post that you lost your job. I'm so sorry to hear this, times are so tough out there.
I really hope you are OK.

Heidi,
I'm so sorry to read this. It doesn't seem fair at all to me. I agree totally with AkasaWolfSong, keep faith in yourself and the life process.
I want to offer advice so much ... but feel it's presumptuous to pretend I know the answers for your own life problems. I think you just have to stay grounded and walk the fine line between *accepting* and *action*.
You have to accept the present, so as it doesn't pull you down. But at the same time, you have to keep trying to take postive action to do what you can to make things better. I wouldn't ever want to pretend that's easy. It's not; it's really hard. Keep believing in yourself.
There so many people in similar situations. I hope you can network with them, and together maybe you can help each other.
Sincerely,
Matt
